These terms cover your use of the Miss Melanie's Music Studio scheduling app (the "app"). By using the app, you agree to these terms.

The service

The app lets enrolled families view and manage their music lessons: see the schedule, request lesson swaps with other studio families, join a waitlist, claim open makeup slots, and receive studio communications. Features may change over time as the studio improves the app.

Your account

Accounts are for enrolled families and are linked with a family code your teacher provides.
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity on your account.
Please keep your contact details accurate so scheduling messages reach you.

Communications and consent

At first login you choose whether to receive email and text messages from the studio. These are separate choices, and you can change either at any time.

If you opt into texts, you agree to receive scheduling messages (swap requests, waitlist and makeup offers, and confirmations) at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

Acceptable use

Use the app only for managing your own family's lessons.
Do not misuse other families' information shown to you for scheduling (for example, swap requests).
Do not attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the app.

Scheduling

Lesson times, swaps, makeups, and waitlist offers are subject to your teacher's studio policies and availability. Confirmation of a lesson time is final only once the app or your teacher confirms it.

Disclaimer

The app is provided on an "as is" basis. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error free. To the extent permitted by law, the studio is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. If the changes are significant, you may be asked to review them again at login.
